The Unit
Model

The Unit Model, offered by Change Rebellion, presents a comprehensive approach tailored to organisations with low Change Maturity. This model extends beyond the expertise of a lone change manager and features the collaborative support of a Communications Lead and a Learning & Development (L&D) Lead. Together, they form a cohesive team that addresses all pivotal aspects of a change project or program while actively contributing to an increase in change maturity.

The

Approach

Change Lead (Change Manager)

Much like the Hero Model, the Change Lead assesses the organisation's existing state, devises effective change strategies, analyses stakeholder needs, manages resistance, and diligently monitors progress. Acting as the nucleus of change orchestration, the Change Lead steers the transformative efforts.

Communications Lead

The Communications Lead specializes in crafting and executing a robust communication strategy. This vital role ensures that information pertinent to the change initiatives permeates effectively to all stakeholders, fostering awareness, understanding, and engagement. This involves leveraging an array of communication channels, tailoring messages, and adeptly catering communication methods to various audiences.

Learning & Development (L&D) Lead

The L&D Lead centers efforts on equipping employees with requisite skills and knowledge to seamlessly adapt to the changes. Identifying training needs, designing and implementing pertinent learning programs, and appraising the efficacy of training initiatives all fall under the purview of the L&D Lead. Their role ensures that employees possess the resources essential for embracing and excelling within the new landscape.

Collaborative Approach

The hallmark strength of the Unit Model is its inherent synergy. The Change Lead, Communications Lead, and L&D Lead work in tandem, aligning strategies to ensure seamless coordination. This guarantees that communication is seamlessly integrated into the change process, and training and development endeavours harmoniously bolster the overarching change objectives.

Enhancing Change Maturity

The Unit Model inherently nurtures and supports the growth of change maturity within the organisation. The collaborative efforts of the team, spanning strategic change management, effective communication, and skill development, collectively contribute to fostering a culture of adaptability and change readiness. As the organisation gains experience and proficiency in managing change, its overall change maturity increases.

Innovative Approaches

Just as with the Hero Model, the Unit Model actively encourages the exploration of innovative methods and approaches to amplify change initiatives. The team might integrate contemporary social media and marketing tactics to heighten communication and engagement, harnessing these tools to yield a more expansive impact.

By synergizing the competencies of the Change Lead, Communications Lead, and L&D Lead, the Unit Model provides organisations a comprehensive, well-coordinated strategy for change management.

This integrated approach not only ensures that every crucial facet of change implementation is meticulously addressed but also contributes to an elevation in change maturity, fostering an environment primed for successful and enduring transformation.
